M818 Truck1

The Bullfrog Truck started its life as a 1970 Jeep M818- 5ton 6×6. It was the preferred workhorse of the military, able to haul up to 5 tons, and cross rivers up to 6′ deep. We got our M818 in spring of 2012. It runs on regular Diesel about 100 gallons, getting about 7 mpg. Top speed was originally about 55 mph, but with the new larger 54″ Hemmet tires it tops out at about 70mph.
The truck started with 3 axles and 10 wheels and a much longer bed. It was chopped about 4′ down to 9′ and the rear most axle was removed.
The Truck lives at Bullfrog Spas of Ogden, just north of Salt Lake City, UT.
November of 2012 it was Shipped via Flatbed Semi to New Orleans, where it debuted at the International Pool & Spa Show as part of the launch of the newly redesigned and updated Bullfrog Spa line. Featuring the new Jetpaks… Jets without plumbing! Now you can see the truck at fairs/ car shows etc.
